She was predeceased by: her parents, Brody Parker and Medie Ellen Noles Parker of Meadows Township; her husband Edward Leon Gillespie; and her siblings, Doris Williford, Wendell Parker, Kirby J. Parker and Samuel Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Edward Gillespie (Sherri) and Marilyn Gillespie McGee; her grandchildren, Amber Lee Stewart (Brad), Emily Nicole Gillespie, Bradley Ragan (Mackenzie), Brittany Horne (Ethan) and Brittnee Campbell; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace Wilkins, Avery Mack Ragan, Brody Horne and Beau Horne; and her siblings, Brenda Goldston, Erby K. Parker, Daniel Parker and Donnie Ray Parker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home (1200 Benson Rd, Garner, NC 27529). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
