With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Hicks of Garner, North Carolina, who passed away on December 28, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vashti Smith and Walter Smith; her husband Dewy Hicks; and her siblings, Ruby Moon, Gladys Medlin, Jeanette Mangum, Anne Ellis, Simon Smith and Parker Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bobbie Dupree of Garner and Bonnie Hales (Larry) of Garner; her granddaughter Kimberly Rowell Singleton (Robert Singleton Jr.); her great grandchildren, Walker of Raleigh and Abby Singleton of Raleigh; and her brother Wade Smith of Raleigh.
