He was predeceased by: his parents, Watson Jones and Carletta Jones (Creech) of Smithfield; the mother of his children Josephine Dixon Jones; and his brothers, D. W. Jones and Charles Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Jones; his sons, Ronnie Jones (Hope) and Dwight Jones (Denise); his grandchildren, Britney Buffaloe (Ricky), Travis Jones, Austin Jones (Ashley), Adam Jones and Ayden Jones; and his great grandchildren, Davis, Wyatt, Clara Jo and Brooks Buffaloe. He is also survived by his parents and first wife.
