She is survived by: her husband Edward C. Spence, Jr.; her daughters, Amanda Spence Allen (Scott) and Erin Platts (David); her grandchildren, Spence Allen, Gabriella Allen, Keely Platts and Davis Platts; her close friend Barbara Baker; and her daughter Janet Wolf. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews.

Memorial contributions in honor of Linda may be made to Saint Andrews United Methodist Church in Garner North Carolina, the Wake County SPCA, or your local library.
