It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Marie Thompson of Garner, North Carolina, born in Concord, New Hampshire, who passed away on September 6, 2020, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Dorothy Thompson of Yarmouth and Gordon Thompson of Frisco, NC; her stepmother Katherine White; her sister Amy Halsted; her brother-in-law Mark Halsted; her nephews, Teague and Cooper Halsted; her stepdaughter Ashleigh Wolfe; her close friend Jon Bush; and her pet Bruiser. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held after the pandemic is over and people can gather safely.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA or your favorite animal rescue organization in her memory.
