She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Jones and Lena Mae Jones; her husband Melton Eugene "Buddy" Moore; and her siblings, Clifford, Arnold Jones and Gertie Jones Hill.
She is survived by: her brother Henry Jones (Bobbie Sue) of Georgia; and her children, Sammy Moore (Barbara) of Wyse Fork, Sue Ball (Avery) of Deep Run and Silvia Sugg (Al) of Raleigh. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
