She is survived by: her husband Edward Smoot; her daughters, Julianna Smoot (Lon Johnson) of Detroit, MI, Sarah Smoot Feighery (Tim Feighery) of Alexandria, VA and Betsy Smoot (Jeromy Watkins) of Birmingham, AL; her grandchildren, Finn, Teddy, Anne Feighery, Libby, Maggie and Henry Smoot-Watkins; and her siblings, John Lancaster (Kathy) of Dallas, TX, Wrenna Barney (Andy) of Clemmons, NC and Walt Lancaster (Rita) of High Point, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
