She was predeceased by: her parents, Dora Benton Merritt and Lemuel Merritt; her husband Ocie Kyle; and her daughter Juanita Carolyn Hogan. She is survived by: her children, Ocie Kyle "Chic" Hogan III and Patricia Hogan; and her grandsons, Brad and David Hogan. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
