We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2021, at the age of 73, Joyce Elaine Wilson of Garner, North Carolina, born in Halifax, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce Elaine Wilson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Tavis Talley and Norma Jean Elliott Talley; and her sister Shirley Jean Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Johnny West Butler of Colorado Spring, Colorado, Sonya Butler (Leroy) of Pikeville and Patricia Stone of Goldsboro; her brother Michael Talley; her grandchildren, Christina Carter (Brooks), Amaris Lawrence, Ridge and Ryan Dzinbal; and her great grandchildren, Camden and Emersyn Carter.

Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
