He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Smith and Dewey Smith; his wife Rosalie Smith; his brothers, Tommy Smith and Clifton Smith; and his son Michael Lynn Smith.
He is survived by: his son Anthony Ralph Smith (LuAnne Smith); his siblings, Larry Smith (Brenda Smith) and Carolyn Smith of Asheville; his grandsons, Brian Anthony Smith (Stephanie Smith), Travis Benjamin Smith (Brittany Smith), Christopher Michael Smith (Becki Smith) and Brandon Joseph Smith; and his great grandchildren, Abagail Smith, Jackson Smith, Delaney Smith and Mason Smith.
