He was predeceased by: his parents, Belzoni Corbett and Katherine Keziah Corbett; and his siblings, B. A. Corbett, Richard Corbett, Betty Corbett Perry, Tommy Corbett and David Corbett.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Byrd Corbett of Raleigh; his children, Kristen Clark (Brenda), Melissa Stover Farmville (Craig), Virginia, Deborah Johnson and Gloria Reid (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jacob Arrowood, Katherine Fulkerson, Jessica Bradley, Sarah Bradley and Brianna Reid; his great grandchildren, Emma Sealey and Elijah Johnson; his nieces, Kathy Blue and Elizabeth Gould; and his sisters-in-law, Ginger Corbett and Linda Sealey Carter.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Aversboro Road Baptist Church (1600 Aversboro Rd, Garner, NC 27529). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
