He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Rogers and Mamie Ruth Rogers; and his wife Mary E. Rogers. He is survived by: his siblings, Bobby Rogers, Billy Rogers and Ann Hill; his grandson Kameron Rogers; his children, Wendy Holland (Trevor) of Angier, Debby Wall (Ronnie) of Wendell, Scotty Rogers (Sherri) of Clayton and Gary Byrd of Apex; his sisters, Wilba Jean Lee of Raleigh, Nell Barbour (Jerry) of Clayton, Sue Dennis (Bob) of Garner and Priscilla Barteck (Henry); his grandchildren, Travis Holland, Ashley Holland, Jeremy Wall, Nick Wall, Eric Rogers and Niki Rogers; and his close friend Marilyn Boylan. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
