She is survived by: her husband Phil Cunningham of Garner; her mother Helen Werne of Evansville, Indiana; her sister Diane Smith of Evansville, Indiana; her children, Elizabeth Watson of Angier and Daniel Owen of Clayton; and her grandchildren, Kyler Watson, Makayla Watson, Andrew Owen, Alayna Owen and Evelyn Owen.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home (1200 Benson Rd, Garner, NC 27529). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM and at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that children hug their mothers and that mothers hug their children.
