He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary McGee Tart Clifton and Colon Tart; his stepfather Dalma Clifton; and his siblings, Frank Tart, George-Lee Clifton and Mary Ruth Clifton Penny.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Penny Tart; his daughters, Ellen Tart Jensen (Art) and Donna Tart Dyer (Allen); his granddaughter Laura Dyer Luster (Hugh); his children, Carmen Dyer Turnbull (Jonathan) and Zachary; and his brother Victor Tart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
