It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Bynum (Garner, North Carolina), who passed away on April 8, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carlton Bynum and Sallie Dixon Bynum; and his brother John Carlton "Carl" Bynum. He is survived by: his daughter Jimi Bynum Hill (Michael) of Hookerton; his stepdaughter Andrea (Gary O'Neal) of Kinston; his grandchild William Hill; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan O'Neal (Megan) and Jordan O'Neal (Taylor); his sister Mary Etta Smith (Ed) of Cape Carteret; and his friend Larry Benton.
