He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Ann Cannady; his parents, Erastus Cannady (Boose) and Betty Lucille Johnson Cannady; and his siblings, Forrest Ray Cannady, Donnie Cannady, Tony Cannady and Ellen Kearney.
He is survived by: his children, Hugh Cannady (Jamie) of Surf City, NC, Eric Cannady (Angela) of Garner, NC and Jaime C. Mixon (Kevin) of Corpus Christi, TX; his grandchildren, Alexis Cannady, Harris Cannady and Hudson Cannady; and his brothers, Delmar Cannady (Peewee) and Glenn Cannady.
