It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Richards Weatherspoon of Garner, North Carolina, who passed away on December 14, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Caswell Richards and Lizzie Underwood Richards; her husband Robert Lee Weatherspoon, Jr.; and her siblings, Lucy Richards Herndon, Robert Richards and Kathrine Richards Barron.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Kelsea Creech; her children, Jennifer Weatherspoon Creech (Ryan), Robert Lee Weatherspoon III (Amy), Amanda Weatherspoon Mizelle (Randy) and William Franklin Weatherspoon (LeeAnne); her grandchildren, Ashley Deal, Courtney Creech Harvey (John), Alexander Creech (Morgan), Nicole Weatherspoon (Tee), Brooke Weatherspoon Padgett (Casey), Tanner Mizelle, Kylie Mizelle and Andrew Fulk (Lindsay); her great grandchildren, Lucas, Melanie, Blaze, Natalie, Avery, Nolan and Archer; and her brother Doug Richards. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Jackie was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2012.
