She was predeceased by: her father Lloyd Johnson; her husband Stephen Carmol Batten; her granddaughter Christy Davenport; her sister Jo Godwin; and her niece Cathy Batten Creech.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Batten Davenport and Lisa Batten Whittington (Chris); her grandchildren, Stephen Davenport (Alisha) and Carmen Langdon Lineback; her stepgrandchildren, Garrett Whittington (Claire) and Nicole Whittington; her great grandchildren, Addyson, Nicholas Davenport, Emory Lineback and Kendyle Whittington; her siblings, Kathleen Batten, Linda Baker (Burwell) and Bobby Johnson (Beth); her nephews, Freddy Batten, Robert Johnson and Jim Baker; and her niece Donna Godwin Price.
