With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman Alphus Lee of Garner, North Carolina, who passed away on September 4, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lundy Leland Lee and Mattie Snead Lee; and his children, Freddy Herman Lee (Jan) and Susie Lee Taylor. He is survived by: his children, Janice Lee Smith (Ronnie) and Dennie Lee (Peggy Buckingham); his grandchildren, Travis Smith (Ludin), Christa Smith Evans (Jay), Jennifer Lee Rabon, Robbie Lee (Ashley), Cynthia Lee Behnke (Adam), Daniel Everett, Pamela Dawn Daugherty, Dana Renee Brown, Timothy Taylor (Lillie), Landon Buckingham and Chelsea LoConte; and his siblings, Cecil Lee and Mavis Lee Wheeler. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren.
