She was predeceased by: her parents, William Albert Parsons and Ada Best Parsons; and her husband Ernest Bradley Tinnin. She is survived by: her children, Rev. Al Tinnin (Mischia) and Charlene Tinnin Chapman (David); her grandchildren, Charity Tinnin, Faith T. Jones (West), Hope Tinnin and Tommy McGee (Tammy); her great grandchildren, Kellett, Morgan and Andrew "Andy" Jones; and her sisters, Willa Dean Daughtry (Raeford) of Newton Grove, NC and Faye Todd (Ray) of Mt. Pleasant, SC..
