It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harriet Whitney Koot (Garner, North Carolina), born in Saugerties, New York, who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Whitney and Margaret Vedder Whitney; and her brother William Whitney. She is survived by: her husband Jan Koot; and also, Gina Kennedy and Shirley Mahler.
