She was predeceased by: her parent James Lacy Hobby, Sr.; and her brother Jerry Hobby. She is survived by: her parent Martha Sauls Hobby; her husband Gary R. Prior; her sons, Rickie Prior of Raleigh and Jeff Prior (Donna) of Garner; her brother James Lacy Hobby, Jr.; her wife Jean of Garner; her grandchildren, Dylan Prior, Brianna Prior, Christyn Hiatt (Brad) and Brian Stephenson; and her daughter Olivia Hiatt.
