He was predeceased by: his father William Douglas Hicks. He is survived by: his mother Mary Frances Phillips; and his siblings, William Eugene Hicks (Pamela), Darryl Douglas Hicks (Cynthia J.), Kenneth Glenn Hicks (Vicki), Brenda Sharon Hicks Lovett and Roy Dean Hicks (Kelly). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
