He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Harrington (Troy) and George Brock; his brother Roy Thomas "Tommy" Brock; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Beavers (Michael) and J. R. "Spot" Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Murphy); his children, Lee Deskins, Faith Deskins and Steven Deskins; his sisters, Pam Carter (Phill) and Susan Hunt; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Murphy (Alice), Terry Murphy (Lynn) and Tony Murphy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home- Garner (1200 Benson Rd, Garner, NC 27529).
