He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Bittinger of Garner, NC; his children, David Bittinger (Christa) of Smithfield, NC and Amy Kunkle (Mark) of Garner, NC; his grandsons, Jason and Cody of Smithfield, NC; his stepbrother Richard Madison (Dona) of Butler, PA; and his nieces and nephews, Bill Bittinger (Ruth) of Pittsburgh, PA, Bert Alworth (Butch) of Parker, PA, Beth Gardner (Mike) of Emlenton, PA, Barb Ritts (Ken) of Emlenton, PA and Bonnie Parenti of Parker, PA. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
