He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Emanuel and Wave Bristle. He is survived by: his wife Ellen of Clayton; his children, Donald William Bristle (Danette) of Waxhaw, NC, William Patrick Bristle (Shelia) of McGee's Crossroad, NC, Melissa B. Pergola (Bruce) of Albuquerque and Amy Beth Benfield (Rick) of Charlotte, NC.; his siblings, Charles, John, Dorothy and Wave; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Christopher, Morgan, Zophia, Will, Anna and Sarah.
