She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Jacob Jones, Jr.; her daughter Elizabeth "Libby" Louisa Jones; her parents, Sallie Steelman Godbey and James Maurice Godbey; and her sisters, Maureen Godbey Mock and Louise Godbey Fleming.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Roberts (Paul) of Raleigh; her grandsons, Ryan Roberts (Ginny) of Raleigh and David Roberts (Megan) of Holly Springs; and her great grandchildren, Ford, McLain, Nora and Landon Roberts.
