With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Smith (Garner, North Carolina), who passed away on November 5, 2024 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Barbour and Callie Holmes Barbour; her husband Coy Smith; and her siblings, Gene Barbour, Rev. Larry Barbour, Magdalene Young and Faye Nance.
She is survived by: her son Barry Smith (Luana); her sisters, Betty Sawyer and Helen Barbour; her granddaughters, Tina West (Richard) and Angie Anzelone (Jimmy); and her great grandchildren, Rev. Chris West (Melissa), Bradley West, Daniel West and Hannah Anzelone. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Herman Christian Church Cemetery (8925 White Oak Rd, Garner, NC 27529).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dorothy's memory to, Mount Herman Christian Church.
