She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Lee and Ruby Keel Thornton; her husband Gene Elwood King; and her sister Dolly Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Mark King (Cheryl), David King (Tammy) and Brian King (Tracy); her siblings, Kenneth, Keith, Gene Thornton, Betty Williams, Faye McCullen, Ann Cox, Mary Best and Billie Turlington; and her grandchildren, Stefan, Evan, Brooke, Piper, Scout and Ryder King.
