He was predeceased by: his father Jonah Garland; his sister Wanda Rampey; and his daughter Christy Gaddy. He is survived by: his children, Jonah "Joey" Davis (Kristy) of Big Sandy, Texas, Stacie Bambach (Robert) of Willow Springs and Ashley Martinez (Chris) of Yucca Valley, California; and his sisters, Jackie Hopkins, Kim Bishop and Helen Eller. He is also survived by nine loving grandchildren.
