She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard F. Witmer and Angeline Fischer Witmer. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her sons, Ric Woerner (Mary), Tom Woerner of Angier and Andy Woerner (Angela) of Fuquay-Varina; her stepchildren, Eileen Rabil (Don), Julie Vorobiov (Michael) and Cathay Egan (Michael); her son Billy (Wendy); her daughter-in-law Kristi Abare Woerner of Fuquay-Varina; her grandchildren, Beth Woerner, Steven Woerner (Abby), Grayer Woerner, Rachael Pleasant (Britt), Nicole Grinnell (Chris) and Grandmom; and her brother Frank Witmer of Millersville Pa. She is also survived by cousins and other family members.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Ocean Conservancy or the charity of one's choice.
