She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Franklin Mitchell and Thelma Fisher Mitchell; her husband Reverend George Whitman; her siblings, Howard, Virginia, Lois, Eunice, Rena and Stanley; her daughter Georgia McNeely; her son-in-law James McNeely; and her grandson Adrian Walls.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Walls and Lisa Hatfield (Lloyd); her brother Jerry Mitchell; her grandchildren, Eric Walls (Jamie), John Lloyd Hatfield Carissa, Victor Hatfield, Joshua Hatfield (Lauren), Jason McNeely (Heather) and Libby McNeely Billotto (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Isabelle, Gavin, Trent of Alyssa, CJ, Daniel, Trinity, Quintin, Micheal and Victoria. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
