She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth Jesse Lee and Louise Gertuide Hedman-Lee; her husband Neil Brennecke Jr. (C. G.); her daughter Katherine Brennecke of Cumming, GA; her siblings, Michael Lee and Francis Lee of Kingfield, Maine.; and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Jack.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Transitions LifeCare / Hospice of Raleigh, and UNC Department of Neurology Memory Clinic.
