We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2020, at the age of 80, Charlotte Wilson Hampton (Garner, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Wilson and Glennie Cartwright Wilson; her husband William B. Hampton; her daughter Alma Glen Parker; and her sister Audrey Colson.
She is survived by: her children, Lucindy "Cindy" Hampton Nobling, William "Jake" Lyle Hampton and Denise Hampton Barton; her grandchildren, Virginia Phillips (John Michael), Jacob Hampton (Ashley), Ashley Hutchinson (Rich), Crystal Higgins (Matthew), David Parker and Matthew Barton; her great grandchildren, Katherine, Morgan, Laura Phillips, Preston, Landon, Norah Hampton, Liam, Addie Grace Hutchinson, Jackson, Patrick, Lily and Cora Higgins; and her siblings, Billy Wilson, Henry Wilson and Betty Lou Byrum. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to make donations to Woodville Baptist Church, 143 Woodville Road, Hertford, NC 27944, where she and her family were longtime members.
