He is survived by: his children, Mark Massey (Doreen), Susan Sain (Terry) of Kannapolis, NC and Erin Jenkins (Josh); his grandchildren, Jeffrey (Garner), David (Raleigh), Brandon Massey (Japan), Crystal Sain of Kannapolis, NC, Phillip, Carl, Jonathan and Autumn Jenkins (Garner); his great grandchildren, Charlie and Carson Massey (Garner); his siblings, Nancy Stuart (Allen), Johnny Massey (Carleen), Joe Massey (Betsy), Lacy Massey (Shirley) and Tracy Massey (Rose); and his friends, Governor Jim Hunt, Congressman David Price and Legislator Dan Blue. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
