He is survived by: his wife Doris Strickland; and his children, Charles Courtney Strickland (Stacy) of Lithonia, GA, Tisa Y. Strickland of Raleigh, Del-Mia L. Strickland and Kena E. Strickland of Raleigh. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
