It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Whittington Purser (Garner, North Carolina), who passed away on January 24, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stacy Larmon and Welma Louise McDonald Whittington; her husband Earle R. Purser; and her nephew Brian Blum. She is survived by: her children, Craig Butler (Casie), Jeffrey Butler (Meredith) and Heather Hankinson; her grandchildren, Mason Hankinson, Brandon Butler, Lauren Butler, Cole Butler, Haylee Smith, Katelyn Smith, Cody Butler and Josh Barberena; and her sisters, Rebecca Stephens (Jim), Stacia Blum (Preston) and Lauren Whittington. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
