Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carolyn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Glenn Hamrick and Corinna Mae Sears; her husband Charles Melvin Boykin; her son Tommy Sears; and her brother Gettis Hamrick.
She is survived by: her son Tony Boykin; and her daughter-in-law Mary Sears. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home (1200 Benson Rd, Garner, NC 27529). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
