She was predeceased by: her parents, Roby M. Stanley and Wilma Stewart Stanley; her husband Leon; and her sisters, Thelma Stanley and Dorothy McGoogan.
She is survived by: her stepson Kevin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church - Raleigh (112 S Salisbury St, Raleigh, NC 27601). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 4000 Glenaire Cir, Cary, NC 27511. A reception was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Music Fund, Friendship Fund or General Fund of First Presbyterian Church of Raleigh; to Glenaire; or to a charity of choice.
