Dan Brown wrote a sympathy message

“Pam and Family, Bruce was my direct manager in the years before he retired. I always remember how fondly he talked about Pam, Brent, and Troy and the family. He was delighted with his grandchildren. Bruce was the most kind and thoughtful person. We made one trip to Asheville and when you spend a couple of days in the car you really get to know someone. But he was one of the professional and compassionate managers I have worked for during my 32 year career with Nationwide. Dan Brown”
