He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kirk and Mary Elizabeth Szymusiak Kirk; his wife Kelly Kirk; and his sister Libby Songer. He is survived by: his son Patrick Kirk of Garner; his brother David Szymusiak; his nieces, Sally Haight (Mike) of Garner and Robin Hill (Greg) of Alkol, WV; his nephew Johnny Songer of Alum Creek, WV; and his great-niece Summer Gray of Garner.
