He was predeceased by: his son Ronnie Jay Chatham; and his granddaughter Jennifer Chatham. He is survived by: his children, Bobby C. Chatham, Jr. (Vonda), Danny Chatham (Tammy) and Bonnie Kelly; and his grandchildren, Candice Chatham, Dixie Chatham, Jayson C. Chatham, Lee Chatham, Brandon Artrip, Joshua Artrip, Steven Moore and Will Langdon.
