She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alton and Nora Ellen Wilson (Jernigan); her husband Layton; her siblings, Tommy C. Wilson (TC), James L. Wilson (Bud) and Shirley Ann Wilson Beasley; and her daughter-in-law Alma Hampton Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Layton Parker (Lisa), Ronnie David Parker (Amber) and Ellen Parker Baker; her grandchildren, David Parker, Crystal Higgins (Matt), Lee Baker (Bonnie), Lena Molina (Marvin), Rhonna Parker and Layton Parker; her stepgrandchildren, Amelia Brown (Alex) and Trevor Lynch (Emily); her great grandchildren, Jackson Higgins, Patrick Higgins, Lily Higgins, Cora Higgins, Colton Carroll, Harper Carroll, Maya Molina and Mariella Molina; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Henry Brown, Caleb Brown and Whitney Lynch; her siblings-in-law, Beverly Wilson, Sue Wilson and Corbett Parker (Jan); and her sister Dot Thomason. She is also survived by cousins, neices and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Garner (601 St Marys St, Garner, NC 27529). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
