She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie G. Wilkins, Sr. and Madie Belvin Wilkins; her husband Forrest F. King; and her brothers, Jessie G. Wilkins, Jr., Lewis F. Wilkins and Worth B. Wilkins.

She is survived by: her sisters, Carol W. Ross of Knightdale and Lillie W. Albritton (Larry) of Garner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
