He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Mumford and Dorethea Mumford; and his brother Jimmy Mumford. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his daughter Susan Millner (Don); his granddaughter Brianna Strickland of Garner; his sister Elaine Smith (Bill) of Concord; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Williams (Brad) of Rocky Mount, Melissa Protheroe of Concord, Gary Bryant (Diane) of Sims, Keith Smith of Concord and Seth Smith (Carla) of Concord.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bailey Town Cemetery (11499 NC-581, Bailey, NC 27807).
