It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barilla Sue Dean (Garner, North Carolina), who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Cleafus Roberts and Pearl Parrish Roberts; her husband Rex Dean; and her siblings, Leta Gray Liles and Fenner Jerl Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Crystal Jackson (Gary), Scherie Lynn Dupree, Mark Dupree (Carol) and Rev. Stephen Dupree (Gina); and her sisters, Marie Byrd and Carra Lee King. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
