It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alyce Johnson Poole (Garner, North Carolina), who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father J. Bunyan Johnson; her husband Charles "Charlie" Rand Poole; and her brothers, William "Bill" Johnson, Dr. James Johnson and Johnnie Holmes Johnson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Poole Grogan (Dan), Lou Ann Upchurch (Tim) and Marie Crowder; her grandchildren, Christen Clark (Richard), Taylor Upchurch (Jamilyn), Lauren Acres (Jake), Marty Garris, Jr. (Jill), Austin Crowder, Allison Brookie (Eli), Ashley Godwin and April Godwin; and her great grandchildren, Charis, Ethan, Camden, Logan, Colter and Saylor.
