He was predeceased by: his parents, Creston H. Rowland and Alma Burchette Rowland; and his siblings, Isabelle Coats, Creston H. "Wendy" Rowland Jr., James "Jimmy Rowland, Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehab.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherri Mann (Jerry) of Benson and Shannon Rowland of Garner; his grandchildren, Brandy, Kemal Jones, Keanna Rowland and Dakota Mann; his great grandchildren, Makayla Roth, Jayden Legg, Malakhi Jones and Baby Kam; and his siblings, Jean Holley of Greenville, Frances Brown of Goldsboro, William "Bill" Rowland of Kinston and Earl Rowland of Raleigh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with the costs of the funeral expenses.
