He is survived by: his siblings, Allie Lee, Rudolph Herring, Mary Pridgen, Lydia Kerr and Evelyn Autry; his wife Lisa Odell; his children, Percell Herring (Linda) of Clinton, NC, Lula Herring (Bobby) of Clinton, NC, Ann Murphy (Henry) of Harrells, Carolyn Parker (Jerry) of Clinton, NC, Larue Herring of Harrells, NC, Flossie Ellis (Larry) of Garland, NC and Sabrina Odell (Travis) of Kenansville; his stepdaughters, Cindy Odell of Kenansville, NC and Amanda Murphy (Dwayne); his son-in-law Mack McAllister; his grandchildren, Angela Herring, Daniel Herring (Tara) and James Murphy (Dawn); his siblings, Carnell Herring (Faye) of Morrow, Gerald Herring (Margaret) of Durham, NC, Mary L. Herring, Sandra Herring, Darlene Odell, Maureen Odell, Laws, Timothy Odell and Roger Odell; and his grandchildren, Sixty and Twenty. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
