It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Gary Long (Garland, North Carolina), who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Long and Bessie Evans; and his stepfather Joe Evans. He is survived by: his siblings, Winnie Smith (Jimmy Smith) of Harrells and Ricky Long (Rhonda Long) of Harrells. He is also survived by two nieces, three nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
